wow what a 7 days its been here in california. as for the missionary work here its going GREAT still. the members keep giving us referrals ans teach their friends with us. we had almost all our lessons this week with members their to help teach! we have a goal to have 100% member present lessons this week, its gonna be powerful. linda is still reading and going to church. we taught her about the priesthood, covenants, and family history this week. we are going thrift shopping with her tonight! johnny is reading the book of mormon with his girlfriend as well as by himself. we taught him the plan of salvation yesterday and will teach the gospel of jesus christ this week! we also got a text from a member saying she had a non member friend who wants to throw me a farewell party! so we are starting to teach them, the benson family! we have begun teaching a part member family as well, they came to church on sunday. we plan on inviting the mom and daughter to be baptized this week :)ON the other hand, we are slightly homeless. everything was fine and dandy on Wednesday then we got a call from our mission presidents wife saying where we just moved (a members house) isnt working out and we need to find a new place to live. so for 2 days we were basically trying to figure out where to move to, we even started packing but we didnt know where to go. so friday us and the zone fasted all day, we even said we wouldnt eat until we had a place to live. we were feeling kinda down and had honestly resorted to moving into the church temporarily. right after we broke our fast the member we were eating dinner with suggested a name to live with temporarily and it was an option we hadnt thought about. we called right there at dinner and she said yes we could! it was a serious miracle. we moved on Saturday. we are basically couch hopping at members houses until we can find a permanent place. theres a possibility we move at least 2 more times before i even come home so im living out of a suitcase? lol its stressful but i know gods watching out for uslol funny story: we taught seminary on thursday so we were at the church early and we just waiting there until our meeting with the missionaries at 1030. we had brought some food and study materials as well as blankets and pillows cuz it was cold haha. we had told the zone about our living situation amd told them we were living at the church (jokingly). that night when we went to pick up the blankets and pillows we had brought to church it was a little after 9 and we were waiting on the curb by the church for our ride and the elders pulled up to pick up food from the church. they said their jaws dropped when they saw us because they seriously thought we were homeless and sleeping at the church hahhaapictures: seminary, 3 youth invited non member friends and they came!!when it "rains" in california and u gotta remind ppl that water is wetall our junk packed amd ready to go to an place to be determinedmothers day dinner with linda our friend getting baptized next month!our scientific experiment on where we will live. our hypothesis is "if we move to sister baileys, we will be happy"
