lissettes famous lemonade

church yesterday was super interesting! it was a work in progress to get soome of our investigators to church thst morning. here is a summary of our morning: 

wake up, get ready, go to jamies to get her out of bed, shes not answering the door, we call, no answer, we call again, she says she needs us to send the address, we send the address, we call gabriels dad to make sure he is awake, no answer, call again, no answer, we go to church for a meeting, we call gabes dad, no answer, we leave church to go see whats up a gabriels house, they were about to go on a hike, i say "nope", gabe gets his church clothes on, we go next door to dillons house, he gets ready, we go back to gabes to tell his dad to drop gabriel, dillon, and lil sister niki off at the church asap, we go back to church, jamie and julia arrive 2 minutes after we walk inside, go to class for a few minutes, text gabes dad to tell us when they are here, we take 3 kids, jamie and her little girl to sacrament, sitting on the bench is don (our recent convert), sister bullock, dillon, gabriel, me, niki, julia, and jamie. it is an interesting sacrament meeting. needless to say, we feed the kids mints for an hour. 

and that was my sunday from 8:30 to 1:10 :) lol when it takes 8 phone calls, 3 house visits, and 7 text messages to get 3 investigators at church

aside from staying busy all the time, ive enjoyed reading the book of mormon. the book is blue, the church is true, moronis on the ball 

lol a funny story... so last sunday we get a missed call from someone with the caller id "dont answer! crazy!" so, we call back. straight to the point, she was crazy. a few days later, we get a referral. its for the same girl!! so we are like ahh we should prolly stoo by. so we end up meeting her at her house and she invites us in. she keeps asking us why her parents keep getting her in trouble for talking to strangers or something? and we were like, uhm just listen to ur parents and u will be ok... and she said her parents hate strangers and they hate anyone who is not Armenian. and there we were, two strangers, who are not armenian, sitting on their couch. we thought we was gonna get shot if her parents came home and saw us so we tried to scurry out and gave her a plan of salvation pamphlet. and that was that. we referred her to the armenian elders :)

we also went to a high school graduation. there was only 2 fights and 1 ambulence
