i am now serving in glendora! its like mini utah over here. we cover 2 wards, so that will be fun. my new companion is sister church, which is sister bullocks old companion! we also live in the same house as another set of sisters, one of whom is sister garza, my trainer! its gonna be a fun transfer :)

first of all, its the fourth of july and my 6 month mark so we went on a hike with some elders in the zone. it was so beautiful and fun to see the land of the free we are blessed to live in. 

earlier this week we hadnt been having as much success finding as we had liked, we were finding 2 maybe 3 new investigators a week. after we set the goal to find at least 1 new investigator a day, that night we found 4!! the following days we have just kept finding until sunday night. it was 8pm and we hadnt found anyone. we were both like, yknow what... we ARE going to find a new investigstor tonight. an hour later, we had 2 new investigators. the lord is defiently on our side and will help us accomplish anything we put our mind to, as long as we have that earnest desire and we "get off the couch" like a great missionary once told me (ky graham). the lord provides a way!! i have had a lot of those testimony strenghtening experiences this week. this whole week we found 9 new investigators, we were told by our district leader that this area (sunland) hasnt seen a big number of new investigstors since last july, when they found 6.

we have a baptism saturday! gabriel and dillon are so hyped. i think we may be more hyped though. i love these kids, they are both 8 and probably know more about the gospel then a lot of people at our church lolz. sister bullock and i went down to glendale today to buy them both new church shirts, they only have 1 each. we hope they like them on saturday!!

we met the new mission president and his wife yesterday! president and sister wells. its gonna be a great year with them. im excited to get to know them more and we are inviting them to the baptism saturday!
