3.5.18 we tracted 100 doors in one day

here is my companions weekly email, shes better at writing every week so enjoy :)

This week we made a goal to knock a hundred doors in a day! We found one new friend! Know we know it takes 100 doors to find 1 new investigator. Hahaha

Knocking 100 doors was ..... interesting....  the one investigator we found latter asked us in a date to be married.... but we met with him yesterday ( we took our handy dandy district leader so we were tots safe) He actually read the pamphlet we gave him and seems cool! After the lesson we held his snake which he took for a walk. When it got dark we knocked on a couple of ministers doors. We also knocked on this returned Nazeren Missiorary, how was super old who was basically told us we were going to help cause we don't believe Jesus is God! Sister Lavetter said but we do believe Jesus is God and he said then you are not Mormon! It irks me when people try to tell me what I believe in! I can believe what ever I want to believe, so there! For dinner that day, we went to an all you can eat Japanese buffet! Sister Lavetter and I tried frog legs, snails, baby octopus, lots of sushi, and a shrimp with every thing on it.....even the eyeballs

Sunday seems to be our day of miracles! Earlier this week we went tracking we met a lady who asked for the church address and she'd come. Everyone says that but no one ever comes so we thought nothing of it. BUT SHE CAME! But she does not speak to much English, and we don't have any missionaries who speak Cantonese... We are meeting with her later today hopefully we can understand her and she can understand us...

This week our stake celebrated the Relief Society Brithday, the theme was Joy in the Journey. A recent convert came with us. The spirit there was incredible as Sisters shares how through Christ they have found Joy in the Journey. We also visited a less active Jonas Kim, Bishop and a recent return missionary, Annkia, came with us. Each time we meet with him his heart soften to come back to  church. But on Sunday he still was a no show.

Well that's my week! The church is still true. There is a prophet on the earth today, Who leads and guides us. I love this gospel because I know how it will, is and can bless my life. If I follow Jesus Christ's example I can become the best me I can be! The Book of Mormon and the Bible are witnesses of Christ and what he has done for you. The church is true the book is blue and Moronis on the ball!
