Can we just take a minut to talk about how gorgeous this earth is. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life it would be to travel

Everything is beautiful.

The sky

Flowers

Animals

Mountains

Waters

Trees

The sun moon and stars.

It's just amazing

So totally unrelated,,, I would like to share something from one of kys letters to me

He says he has been working on applying this gospel doctrine in his life since entering the mtc

(Ps he is currently on his way to Singapore at this moment)

"Obedience brings blessings, but exact obedience brings miracles."

I think this is a wonderful outlook on obedience. Sure sometime we think "well technically I'm not breaking the rule (but I may be bending them)" but I people personally need to form a better habit of being completely obedient.

I think often times we choose to bend the rules because that will bring us temporary happiness, but in gods plan for us he gives us the chance to have eternal happiness if we keep his commandments (fully and exactly).

Elder Graham has been a wonderful example to me in this gospel principle.

A little after he received his mission call we were just talking one day and he said "I don't know what the rules are, I will hug you goodbye at the airport when I leave." I thought to myself sure I, sure other people do it it's no big deal. The church leaders just don't want missionaries hugging girls while in the field.... and that was all we discussed about it

The day before Ky left I was planning on going to see him be set apart and say goodbye. We were talking earlier in the day and he said to me

Lissette I don't want to hug you after I get set apart.

And is asked him why and he responded with that quote

"Obedience brings blessings, but exact obedience brings miracles."

And since that day those have been the words he has been living by. Exact obedience has become a huge part of his learning and growth in the mtc and I myself am going to strive to be fully obedient to the lord and his commandments for us.

I know myself and Ky and anyone else who diligently seeks to be exactly obedient will receive His miracles.
