So elder Graham is actually in the capital of Malaysia right now. He is in a city called kuala lumpur or KL.
Ky lives on the tenth floor or his building.
He has already learned some malay, Thai, Japanese, an African tribal language, and Chinese.
He says he already has 5 investigators with a baptism date set.
It's crazy hot and humid over there but he says he is getting used to it (worse than Arkansas he says, and that's hard to beat!)
his pday is on Monday but it's weird cause it's still Sunday here lol. It's like either I'm living in the past or he's living in the future. Crazy.
Elder Graham has been studying faith and hope and says
"I've always thought that faith had to do completely with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ but faith also has a lot to do with us having faith and hope in each other! We HAVE TO HAVE faith and hope in each other!! We have to have faith that whenever someone is apologizing that they really mean it! I've also learned that we have to have faith with whatever we commit people to. Because without faith in them then they will never have faith in themselves! I hope you all understand what I'm saying. Just always have faith and hope in each other!"
He has a great point in saying we need to support each other. Every day we practice having faith in other when we expect them to follow through with plans or we have faith they will do well on a hard test. Maybe we don't realize it, I know I forget sometimes, but actually having someone tell you they believe in you is so comforting to know. My dad used to always tell me "I believe in you" where dropped me off in elementary school through seminary years. I took that for granted because I was always like "year whatever", cause u know it was at the crack of dawn, and stuff. But I really acknowledge and appreciate him for having faith and hope in me all these years. Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father have this same hope and faith in us as we do for them.
I wish every night was Sunday night
